Before, Ganor also founded ShopServe.com, a provider of independent, authoritative online-shopping advice and content. Ganor successfully raised over $3 million (U.S.) in tier-1 venture capital and forged strategic partnerships with firms such as AT&T Business, AON Innovative Solutions, DoubleClick, Screaming Media and the Denver Post.
Prior he served as Vice President of Marketing at VocalTec Communications (Nasdaq: VOCL), a pioneer and leader in Internet Telephony. There, he built the product management department from the ground up, marketing a new generation of products including the first-ever worldwide PC-to-phone commercial network. Together, with leading industry players such as Cisco, Microsoft, Pulver and others, Ganor founded and Chaired the Marketing Committee of the VON coalition– an industry initiative that actively advocated for the IP Telephony industry.
Ganor began his career with an eight-year stint at Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) in Israel where, among other responsibilities, he consulted to Intel, Motorola and other high-profile technology firms. He holds a B.S. degree in mathematics and computer science from Ben-Gurion University, Israel and is an entrepreneurship mentor at Berkley Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at NYU Stern Business School of Business.
